 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 684

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 684,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    in  Section  5,  Sec.  14-1.09b, subsection (b), by replacing
 4    item (1) with the following:
 5             "(1)  Holds   (A)   a   regular   license    as    a
 6        speech-language  pathologist  pursuant  to  the  Illinois
 7        Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act, (B)
 8        a   current   Certificate   of   Clinical  Competence  in
 9        speech-language    pathology    from     the     American
10        Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a regular license
11        in   speech-language  pathology  from  another  state  or
12        territory or the District of Columbia and has applied for
13        a  regular  license  as  a  speech-language   pathologist
14        pursuant  to  the  Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and
15        Audiology  Practice  Act,  or  (C)  a  temporary  license
16        pursuant to the Illinois  Speech-Language  Pathology  and
17        Audiology  Practice  Act  and  has  completed an approved
18        program.".
