 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 461

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 461,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    by deleting subsection (c) of Section 5; and

 4    in  Section 5, by redesignating subsections (d), (e), and (f)
 5    as subsections (c), (d), and (e), respectively; and

 6    in Section  10,  in  the  paragraph  beginning  with  ""State
 7    funds""; by deleting "or other thing of value"; and

 8    by inserting at the end of Section 25 the following:

 9        "Section  30.  Construction  of  Act. Nothing in this Act
10    shall be construed to make a contractor responsible  for  the
11    actions of a subcontractor.".
