 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 150

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 150,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 2, by replacing lines 2  through  4  with  the
 5    following:
 6        "(1)  SUBMITTED  THEIR  FINGERPRINTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
 7    STATE POLICE  IN  THE  FORM  AND  MANNER  PRESCRIBED  BY  THE
 8    DEPARTMENT  OF  STATE  POLICE.   THESE  FINGERPRINTS SHALL BE
 9    CHECKED AGAINST THE FINGERPRINT  RECORDS  NOW  AND  HEREAFTER
10    FILED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE AND FEDERAL BUREAU OF
11    INVESTIGATION   CRIMINAL   HISTORY  RECORDS  DATABASES.   THE
12    FINGERPRINT CHECK HAS RESULTED IN A DETERMINATION"; and

13    on page  2,  by  replacing  lines  15  through  17  with  the
14    following:
15        "(1)  SUBMITTED  THEIR  FINGERPRINTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
16    STATE POLICE  IN  THE  FORM  AND  MANNER  PRESCRIBED  BY  THE
17    DEPARTMENT  OF  STATE  POLICE.   THESE  FINGERPRINTS SHALL BE
18    CHECKED AGAINST THE FINGERPRINT  RECORDS  NOW  AND  HEREAFTER
19    FILED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE AND FEDERAL BUREAU OF
20    INVESTIGATION   CRIMINAL   HISTORY  RECORDS  DATABASES.   THE
21    FINGERPRINT CHECK HAS RESULTED IN A DETERMINATION"; and

22    on page  6,  by  replacing  lines  31  through  34  with  the
23    following:

 1             "(1)  the   person   has   submitted   his   or  her
 2        fingerprints to the Department of  State  Police  in  the
 3        form  and  manner  prescribed  by the Department of State
 4        Police. These fingerprints shall be checked  against  the
 5        fingerprint  records  now  and  hereafter  filed  in  the
 6        Department   of   State  Police  and  Federal  Bureau  of
 7        Investigation criminal history records databases;"; and

 8    on page 7, by deleting lines 1 and 2; and

 9    on page 8, below line 4, by inserting the following:
10        "The Department of State Police shall charge  a  fee  for
11    conducting the criminal history records check, which shall be
12    deposited  into  the  State  Police Services Fund and may not
13    exceed the actual cost of the records check.".
