 1                     AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 78

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 78, AS AMENDED, in
 3    Section 5, in the introductory clause, by replacing  "Section
 4    20-31" with "Sections 20-31 and 20-32"; and

 5    in  Section  5,  immediately  below the end of Sec. 20-31, by
 6    inserting the following:

 7        "(225 ILCS 65/20-32 new)
 8        (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2008)
 9        Sec. 20-32.  Educational resources; internet  link.   The
10    Department  shall  work  with  the  Board of Nursing, the APN
11    Board, the Board of Higher Education,  the  Illinois  Student
12    Assistance    Commission,    Statewide   organizations,   and
13    community-based  organizations   to   develop   a   list   of
14    Department-approved  nursing  programs  and other educational
15    resources related  to  the  Test  of  English  as  a  Foreign
16    Language  and  the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing
17    Schools Examination.  The Department shall provide a link  to
18    a  list  of  these  resources, in English and Spanish, on the
19    Department's World Wide Web site.".
