    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business

Practices Act is
amended by changing Section 12 as follows:

    Sec. 12. This Act shall be known and may be cited as the

"Consumer Fraud
and Deceptive Business Practices Act".
