 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3562

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3562,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with reference to page and line number of House Amendment No.
 4    1,  on  page  2,  line 18, after "accounts", by inserting the
 5    following:
 6    "before the accounts have  been  certified  as  uncollectible
 7    under this Section"; and

 8    on  page  2,  by  replacing  lines  24  through  28  with the
 9    following:
10    "schedule for the various receivables. The  contractor  shall
11    remit the amount collected, net of the contingent fee, to the
12    respective  State  agency  which shall deposit the net amount
13    received into the fund that would have received  the  receipt
14    had  it  been  collected  by  the State agency. No portion of
15    the"; and

16    on page 2, by replacing line 34 with the following:
17    "Director of Central Management Services may sell  the  debts
18    that are eligible for sale to one or more outside"; and

19    on page 3, by replacing lines 6 and 7 with the following:
20    "shall  provide  for  a  contingent  fee.  Beginning  on  the
21    effective date of this amendatory Act of"; and

22    on  page 3, line 9, by replacing "the State Comptroller" with

 1    "the Department of Central Management Services"; and

 2    on page 3, by replacing line 13 with the following:
 3    "Assembly, the Director of Central Management Services  shall
 4    direct  the State Comptroller to deposit the money, excluding
 5    those funds that by  law  may  not  be  diverted  from  their
 6    original purpose,"
