 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2492 on page 2,  by
 3    replacing lines 6 through 11 with the following:
 4    "embracing the townships of Bloom, Thornton, Calumet, Bremen,
 5    Orland, Worth, and Palos."; and

 6    on  page  4,  by  replacing  lines  2  through  15  with  the
 7    following:
 8    "Authority  shall  be governed by a 5-member board consisting
 9    of members appointed by the  Governor  with  the  advice  and
10    consent of the Senate.  Each member shall take"; and

11    on  page  4,  by  replacing  lines  22  through  26  with the
12    following:
13    "compensation for services as that officer.".
