 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 116 as follows:
 3    on page  1,  immediately  below  line  3,  by  inserting  the
 4    following:
 5        "Section  2.  The  Township  Code  is  amended  by adding
 6    Section 30-166 as follows:

 7        (60 ILCS 1/30-166 new)
 8        Sec. 30-166.  Civil penalties for false fire alarms.  The
 9    township  board  of  any  township  providing fire protection
10    services may impose reasonable civil penalties on individuals
11    who repeatedly cause false fire alarms.".
