HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Steven Joseph Camiliere on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 297, based at MacArthur School in Hoffman Estates; he has held the positions of den chief, troop guide, chaplains aide, patrol leader, Council Order of the Arrow Vigil Chief, and chapter vice-chief; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere has earned 54 merit badges, with only 21 needed to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's Eagle Project was restoring the veteran's commission float for Hoffman Estates; he organized a car wash to raise money to fund the project; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere has been in the Boy Scouts since he was 6 years old, when his mother was his den leader; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's parents are Laura and Jeff Camiliere; he has a sister, Jenny; and

WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's Court of Honor will be held at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall on September 27, 2015; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Steven Joseph Camiliere on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Steven Camiliere as an expression of our esteem and respect.
