SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frank Hnilo, who passed away on April 13, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Frank Hnilo earned his bachelor's degree in business/accounting emphasis from Roosevelt University; and

WHEREAS, Frank Hnilo served as a certified public accountant and a certified divorce financial analyst since 1968; in 1974, he co-founded DiGiovine Hnilo Jordan + Johnson Ltd., a CPA/business consulting firm; he began serving as the firm's president and managing principal in July of 1992; and

WHEREAS, Frank Hnilo was an active member of the Rotary Club of Naperville since 1976; he was a member of many professional associations, boards, and not-for-profits, including the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, the Financial Planning Association, the Tax and Personal Financial Planning Divisions of AICPA, and the Institute for Certified Divorce Financial Analysts; he was also a past treasurer of the Association of Divorce Financial Professionals, a past president of the Rotary Club of Naperville, a past treasurer of Naperville Rotary Charities, and a past treasurer of the Naperville Education Foundation; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Frank Hnilo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frank Hnilo as an expression of our sympathy.
