SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Harvey F. Moravec of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on September 13, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harvey Moravec was born in Chicago on October 2,
61936 to George and Elizabeth (nee Fredrickson) Moravec; he was
7a resident of Crystal Lake for 34 years; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Harvey Moravec was a master plumber and was a
9member of Chicago Plumber's Union Local #130; for many years he
10worked on the Magnificent Mile and helped build many high rise
11buildings; throughout his career, he worked for Schuepfer
12Plumbing, Corboy Plumbing, Ryan Plumbing, and did independent
13construction with Quinco Corporation; he also did honorary work
14at the naval base in Glenview, for which he received an award;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Harvey Moravec was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and
17Chicago Cubs fan; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Harvey Moravec was preceded in death by his
19parents and his sister, Dolores Peters; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Harvey Moravec is survived by his wife, Sharon F.

1Moravec (nee Lemke); children, David Moravec, Kimberly (Mark)
2Severson, and Matthew (Emily) Moravec; grandchildren, Michael,
3Jonathan, and Lauren Severson; step-grandchildren, Ashley
4Sargus and Ryan, James, and Nancy Vegetabile; and his brother,
5George (late Gloria) Moravec; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Harvey F. Moravec, and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Harvey Moravec as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
