HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Alnetta (nee Jones) Williams of Chicago, who passed away on August 8, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Alnetta Williams was born on September 23, 1918; and

WHEREAS, Alnetta Williams was the loving mother of 13 children, including her son, Bishop Dr. Joseph Jones, Chaplain for Interfaith Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Alnetta Williams, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alnetta Williams as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
