HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives are
3pleased to congratulate The Sisters and Mothers Foundation of
4New York, in collaboration with Gods Battalion of Prayer Church
5and Living God Ministry Church, on their 3rd annual Mother's
6Day Luncheon; and
 
7    WHEREAS, It is the mission of The Sisters and Mothers
8Foundation of New York to pay tribute to members of the
9community whose legacy will bless the lives of generations to
10come; this year's guests of honor are no exception to that goal
11and all of them are worthy of acknowledgement; they have all
12blessed the city with hope as they generously served with honor
13and grace in their distinct fields of expertise; and
 
14    WHEREAS, This year the honorees will be distinguished
15mothers in and around the Chicago area, who have dedicated
16their lives to servicing their church and communities; those
17honorees are Mrs. Jacqueline Rice, Mrs. Patricia Ann
18Mays-Sanders, Mrs. Cassandra Pharrow, Mrs. Linda Fitzpatrick,
19and many others; and
 
20    WHEREAS, This year's luncheon is the first to be held in
21Chicago; and

1    WHEREAS, The luncheon will be held on May 4, 2013, at The
2Hyatt Regency in Chicago; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
5we are pleased to congratulate The Sisters and Mothers
6Foundation of New York, in collaboration with Gods Battalion of
7Prayer Church and Living God Ministry Church, on their 3rd
8annual Mother's Day Luncheon; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
10presented to The Sisters and Mothers Foundation of New York,
11the Gods Battalion of Prayer Church, the Living God Ministry
12Church, and the 2013 honorees, Jacqueline Rice, Patricia Ann
13Mays-Sanders, Cassandra Pharrow, Linda Fitzpatrick, and all
14others.
