SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Tyre Sampson of Berkeley, Missouri who passed away on March 25, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Tyre Sampson was born in St. Louis on August 17, 2007; he attended City Garden Montessori School, where he was an eighth grade student; and

WHEREAS, Tyre Sampson was a member of the St. Louis Bad Boyz football club; and

WHEREAS, Tyre Sampson will be remembered as a well-mannered gentle giant who was focused on football and dreamed of being a professional football player; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Tyre Sampson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tyre Sampson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
