SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Phyllis Ann Waters of Alton, who passed
4away on November 2, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Phyllis Waters was born in Alton to Angelo and
6Mary (Spatori) Taulli on October 12, 1932; she graduated from
7Marquette Catholic High School in 1950 and married Donald
8Albert Waters on April 25, 1953; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Phyllis Waters worked for two years at Olin
10Mathieson in East Alton; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Phyllis Waters was an active member in the St.
12Peter and Paul's and St. Patrick's Altar Society; she was a
13volunteer Pink Lady at Saint Anthony's Hospital and took part
14in the annual St. Patrick's turkey dinner and Bingo; she was a
15board member for the organization Friends and Neighbors; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Phyllis Waters was preceded in death by her
17husband of 61 years, Donald; her parents; her brother, Thomas
18Taulli; and her daughter-in-law, Kim Waters; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Phyllis Waters is survived by her children, David
20(Dawn) Waters, Donna (Bob) Aszman, Thomas (Charli) Waters,

1Sharon (Thomas) Hettel, Michael (Susan) Waters, Laura
2(Timothy) Powers, and Robert Waters; her grandchildren,
3Matthew, Julie, Danielle, Rebecca, Jordan, Karley, John, Jake,
4Tim, Sara, Chris, Angie, Emily, and Rachel; her
5great-grandchildren, Avery, Ella, William, Adelyne, Carson,
6Madison, Easton, Everly, and her ever growing family; and her
7brother, William (Sonny) Taulli; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Phyllis Ann Waters and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Phyllis Waters as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
