SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gloria J. (Janezich) Knapp of Beach Park, who passed away on October 13, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp was born in Waukegan to Lorraine McCleer and Stanley Janezich on March 18, 1947; she graduated from Waukegan High School in 1966; she was married to Kenneth Knapp Sr. for 53 years; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp worked at K-Mart and retired in 1998; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp enjoyed yard work and spending time at her second home in upper Michigan; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp was preceded in death by her parents and her grandchild, Courtney Knapp; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp is survived by her sons, Kenneth Knapp Jr. and Jeffrey (Gina) Knapp; and her grandchildren, Daniel Knapp, Kara Knapp, Carley Knapp, and Colton Knapp; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Gloria J. (Janezich) Knapp and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gloria Knapp as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
