SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Vera Novalard Randolph-Ventimiglia of Wood River, who passed away on September 17, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was born in Mount Vernon to Thomas Newton and Novalard Tennesse (Bean) Willmore on April 16, 1929; she married William Thompson Randolph; she later married Anthony J. Ventimiglia; and

WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was the owner of Alton Answering Services and the Doctor's Exchange for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was a member of the Hearts Harvest Church and the Alton VFW Post 1308 Auxiliary; and

WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was preceded in death by her first husband, William; her second husband, Anthony; her parents; and her siblings, Lee Willmore and Verda Culli; and

WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia is survived by her children, Vicki (John) Uram, Devin "Kim" (Gail) Randolph, and D'Ann Randolph; her brother, Glen Willmore; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Vera Novalard Randolph-Ventimiglia and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
