SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Vera Novalard Randolph-Ventimiglia of
4Wood River, who passed away on September 17, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was born in Mount
6Vernon to Thomas Newton and Novalard Tennesse (Bean) Willmore
7on April 16, 1929; she married William Thompson Randolph; she
8later married Anthony J. Ventimiglia; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was the owner of Alton
10Answering Services and the Doctor's Exchange for over 30 years;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was a member of the
13Hearts Harvest Church and the Alton VFW Post 1308 Auxiliary;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia was preceded in death
16by her first husband, William; her second husband, Anthony; her
17parents; and her siblings, Lee Willmore and Verda Culli; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia is survived by her
19children, Vicki (John) Uram, Devin "Kim" (Gail) Randolph, and
20D'Ann Randolph; her brother, Glen Willmore; eight

1grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nine
2great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Vera Novalard Randolph-Ventimiglia and extend our sincere
6condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
7her; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Vera Randolph-Ventimiglia as an
10expression of our deepest sympathy.
