SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edward E. "Ed" Sadlowski, who passed away
4on June 10, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was born in Chicago to Edward and
6Mildred (Sanders) Sadlowski on September 10, 1938; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was a union activist and represented
8thousands of steelworkers in Chicago and Gary, Indiana; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski was preceded in death by his parents;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ed Sadlowski is survived by his wife, Marlene; his
12children, Susan Garza, Patricia Hoyt, Edward Sadlowski Jr., and
13Diane Agelson; his grandchildren, David Garza, Ryan Garza, Kate
14Garza, Tyler Garza, Deanna Hoyt, Adrianne Hoyt, Faith
15Sadlowski, Evelyn Sadlowski, Ed Sadlowski II, Angela Agelson,
16and Hallee Agelson; and his great-grandchildren, Aria and Sofia
17Garza; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20Edward E. "Ed" Sadlowski, and extend our sincere condolences to

1his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
2further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Ed Sadlowski as an expression of our
5deepest sympathy.
