SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert P. "Bob" Lammert of Edwardsville,
4who passed away on April 29, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Lammert was born in St. Louis to Harry and
6Anna (Beutil) Lammert on December 15, 1931; he married Shirley
7Wickman; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Bob Lammert served as the founder and former
9director of Labour of Love, which provided means of hearing to
10those in need in northern Mexico; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Lammert was a member of St. Boniface Catholic
12Church in Edwardsville, where he founded the church's branch of
13the St. Vincent DePaul Society; he was also a member of the
14Edwardsville Knights of Columbus Council 1143, and the 4th
15Degree Assembly 0225; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bob Lammert was preceded in death by his parents
17and his siblings, Marjorie Berg, Kathryn Berg, Edward Lammert,
18Harry Lammert, and Harold Lammert; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Bob Lammert is survived by his wife, Shirley; his
20children, Lori Lammert, Chris (Vicki) Lammert, Leslie

1(Jefferey) Taylor, and Leigh Ann (Rob) Parker; and his
2grandchildren, Leslie M. Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Madison
3Lammert, and Alayna Lammert; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Robert P. "Bob" Lammert and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Bob Lammert as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
