SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Spencer Keene Bacus of Rosewood Heights,
4who passed away on April 24, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Spencer Bacus was born to Mark and Debbie Bacus on
6October 27, 1993; he was a junior at Southern Illinois
7University Edwardsville in the department of Applied
8Communications Studies; he was a Fine Arts Fellow, honor
9thespian, accomplished actor and performer, fitness
10enthusiast, and a versatile vocalist and musician, who played
11the piano, woodwinds, and guitar; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Spencer Bacus was a friend to everyone he met;
13every day, he reached out to help or encourage someone; he will
14be remembered for teaching others how to love, how to be more
15giving, and how to be more servant centered; he lived each day
16happily, joyfully, and robustly; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Spencer Bacus was preceded in death by his
18grandparents, Keith and Rose Ellen Bacus; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Spencer Bacus is survived by his parents; his
20brother, Oliver Bacus; his sisters, Noel Schiber and Jolie
21Alois; his brothers-in-law, David Schiber and John Alois; his

1nieces, Marlo and Rachel Schiber and Tara Alois; his nephew,
2Evan Alois; his grandparents, Don and Evelyn Bunt; his special
3cousin and best friend, Robin Bacus; and his many aunts,
4uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Spencer Keene Bacus and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Spencer Bacus as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
