SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marion Reinwall-Hoak, who passed away on April 9, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak was born to Louis and Mabel Hawley on January 3, 1926; she married Ernest "Bill" Reinwall in 1953; she later married Stewart Hoak of Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak worked in many departments at the Ringwood Chemical Co.; she also worked as a dental assistant and a teacher at the McHenry School of Beauty Culture; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak enjoyed being involved in many organizations; she was a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Kishwaukee Trail Chapter for over 50 years and the Order of the Eastern Star; she was also active in the Red Hat Society, the McHenry County Past Presidents Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose #1348, and the Crazy Hat Society; she was a member of the Ringwood United Methodist Church and the Women's Club; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak enjoyed working in the yard and doing ceramics; she collected plates and spoons; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Earnest William Reinwall and Stewart Hoak; her brother-in-law, John Woodward; and her nephew, John Woodward Jr.; and

WHEREAS, Marion Reinwall-Hoak is survived by her sons, Gary (Sandy) and Mark (Georgene); her grandson, Colton; her sister, Shirley Woodward; and her nephews, Louis and Timothy Woodward; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marion Reinwall-Hoak, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marion Reinwall-Hoak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
