SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Glenn A. Waspi of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on February 4, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi was born in Spring Grove to John and
6Lydia (Andrews) Waspi on January 8, 1921; he graduated from
7Richmond High School in 1939; he married Regina "Butch" Karls
8in Spring Grove on February 23, 1941; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi worked as a master mechanic for E. M.
10Malhan Construction in Algonquin for 45 years, retiring in
111988; he was a member of Operating Engineers Local #150; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi attended St. Thomas the Apostle in
13Crystal Lake; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi was preceded in death by his parents;
15his wife, Regina; his son, Jeff Waspi; his sisters, Edith
16McDonald and Marguerite Pierce-Moore; and by his brothers,
17John, Fred, Paul, George, and Edward Waspi; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi is survived by his sons, Michael
19(Janell) and Kevin (Sally) Waspi; his daughter-in-law, Sharon
20Waspi; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four

1great-great-grandchildren; and his caregiver, Vicki;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Glenn A. Waspi, and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Glenn Waspi as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
