1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Ethel Golwitzer Flesher
4 on the occasion of her 100th birthday on December 8, 2017; and

5     WHEREAS, Ethel Flesher was born in Waukegan on December 8,
6 1917; she graduated from Waukegan Township High School; and

7     WHEREAS, Ethel Flesher raised six children and is a proud
8 grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and
9 12 great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and

10     WHEREAS, Ethel Flesher is a lifelong citizen of Waukegan
11 and member of the First United Methodist Church; she is active
12 in several groups, including American Association of Retired
13 Persons, Women's Club, and Garden Club; therefore, be it

14     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
15 HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
16 congratulate Ethel Golwitzer Flesher on her 100th birthday on
17 December 8, 2017, and we wish her many more wonderful years;
18 and be it further

19     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Ethel Flesher as an expression of our esteem and
