HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Sean McNamee on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America; and

WHEREAS, Sean McNamee has been in scouting since he was five years old; he joined troop #60 in St. Charles when he was in middle school; and

WHEREAS, Sean McNamee achieved all of his merit badge requirements and service hours and completed his Eagle Scout Project for the community; his most tasking project required him to build wooden trash and recycling receptacles for Primrose Farm, a working Park District-owned farm; his troop also helped clean out garden beds for planting around the farm buildings; and

WHEREAS, Sean McNamee passed his board of review on August 14, 2017 and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, a rank attained by less than 5% of scouts; and

WHEREAS, Sean McNamee's achievement shows true perseverance, dedication, and leadership; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Sean McNamee on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sean McNamee as an expression of our esteem and respect.
