HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to recognize B & L Automotive Repairs in Chicago on its success and commitment to its community; and

WHEREAS, B & L is a family-owned business that delivers comprehensive turnkey automotive repairs for insurance, fleet, and commercial customers; and

WHEREAS, B & L was founded in 1978 by Bernie Schatz and Lou Stein; Peter Rizzo started with B & L in 1980 and became owner in 1988; he, his wife Kim, and brother-in-law Gino Jacobazzi have maintained the B & L standard of excellence that was established by its founders; and

WHEREAS, B & L has been an asset to the City of Chicago for decades; it continues a commitment to the local community, most recently by investing in the construction of a new building across from their current location; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate B & L Automotive Repairs on its success and commitment to its community, and we wish them many more successful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to B & L as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
