SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Clarence K. Kitto of Lineville, Iowa, formerly of East Moline, who passed away on August 31, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Clarence Kitto was born in Brownville, New York on May 8, 1928 to Everett and Agnes (Chapman) Kitto; he married Mary E. Ingerson in Edwards, New York on January 1, 1951; he served in the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Clarence Kitto was employed as a final assemblyman at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline from 1966 to 1990; and

WHEREAS, Clarence Kitto was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; his 2 sisters, Barbara and Rose Marie; and his brother, Harold; and

WHEREAS, Clarence Kitto is survived by his 2 daughters, Lisa (Ron) Smith and Aimee (Anthony) Arnold; his 3 sons, Dr. Gary Kitto, Mark (Diane) Kitto, and Joel (Peggy) Kitto; his brother, Niles (Eunice) Kitto; his 10 grandchildren; and his 7 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Clarence K. Kitto, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Clarence Kitto as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
