SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Havron, Jr. of Wheaton, who passed away on August 5, 2015; and

WHEREAS, John Havron, Jr. was born on July 30, 1918 in Chicago Heights; his parents were John and Gertrude (nee Gjerde) Havron; he married Barbara Strader on May 28, 1961 in Milan; and

WHEREAS, John Havron, Jr. served in the United States Army during World War II; and

WHEREAS, John Havron, Jr. was a brakeman for the Rock Island Railroad before retiring from Northeast Illinois Commuter Railroad Corporation in Chicago on December 24, 1981; and

WHEREAS, John Havron, Jr. was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Havron; and

WHEREAS, John Havron, Jr. is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Richard (Shilpi) Havron, Gerald Havron, and Kevin (Shari) Havron; and 5 grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of John Havron, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Havron, Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
