| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Allan L. Waldschmidt of Henry, who passed | 4 | | away on July 31, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Allan Waldschmidt was born in Peoria on October | 6 | | 25, 1946 to Julius H. and Doris (nee Reising) Waldschmidt; he | 7 | | married Vicki A. Moore on June 27, 1970 in Peoria; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Allan Waldschmidt farmed in the Henry area for | 9 | | over 45 years; he retired from the Caterpillar Tractor Company | 10 | | as an electrical journeyman after over 30 years; he served as a | 11 | | volunteer fireman for 51 years with the Henry Fire Protection | 12 | | District and was a Trustee for the district for 15 years; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Allan Waldschmidt was a longtime member of St. | 14 | | Patrick Catholic Church in Camp Grove and a member of St. | 15 | | Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming, where he served as a | 16 | | Trustee; he was a precinct committeeman with the Republican | 17 | | Party and volunteered at the Family Resources Center, the | 18 | | Spring Festival of Life Auction, and The Catholic Diocese of | 19 | | Peoria Men's Walk; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Allan Waldschmidt was preceded in death by his | 21 | | parents; one unborn child, Mary/Joseph Waldschmidt; and his |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Allan Waldschmidt is survived by his wife, Vicki; | 3 | | his children, Michael (Nicci) Waldschmidt, Thomas (Toni) | 4 | | Waldschmidt, and Patricia Waldschmidt; his 4 grandchildren, | 5 | | Haley, Collin, Aaron, and Ellianna Waldschmidt; his 4 brothers, | 6 | | Marvin (Anita) Waldschmidt, Russell (Pat) Waldschmidt, Ernest | 7 | | (Pam) Waldschmidt, and Dean (Kathy) Waldschmidt; and his 2 | 8 | | sisters, Doreen Shipman and Julie (Bob) Read; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Allan L. Waldschmidt, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further
