SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rose Wisniewski who passed away on July 25, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Rose Wisniewski was a member of St. Patrick's Church for over 60 years; she was active in many church clubs, organizations, and school functions, including, library mother for St. Patrick's School, St. Patrick's School and JCHS Mothers clubs, the Band Parents Associations for Joliet Catholic Grade School, Joliet Catholic High School and Joliet Central High School, Cub Scout Den Mother and Brownie Leader, Senior Citizens Association, St. Patrick's CCW, former member of the 55 Club, Town and Country senior bowling league, and the Toni Travelers; she served as a Democratic election judge for many years; and

WHEREAS, Rose Wisniewski was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wisniewski, Sr.; her parents, Andrew and Rose (nee Cortese) Varello; her 3 sisters, Margaret (Martin) Jurvich, Mary (Richard) Fenoglio, and an infant sister, Rose; and her brother, Dominic (Rose) Varello; and

WHEREAS, Rose Wisniewski is survived by her 2 sons, Leo D. and Robert F. Wisniewski; her daughter, Andrea (Rob) Richardson; her 2 grandchildren, Eric and Kristin Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Rose Wisniewski, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rose Wisniewski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
