SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jesus Baldemar "Jesse" Vazquez of Montgomery, who passed away on January 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Jesse Vazquez was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on November 28, 1963; and

WHEREAS, Jesse Vazquez enjoyed golf, cooking, yard games, and spending time with family; and

WHEREAS, Jesse Vazquez was preceded in death by his nephew, Augustin Torres; his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Jesse Vazquez is survived by his wife, Maria M. (nee Aviles) Vazquez; his 3 children, Eric B. (Danielle) Vazquez, Michael J. Vazquez, and Veronica Morgan Vazquez; his granddaughter, Rori A. Vazquez; his future grandson, Sebastian B. Vazquez; his parents, Maria E. (nee Aguirre) and Jesus P. Vazquez; his brother, Ricardo Vazquez; his 3 sisters, Laura (David) Dhom, Gloria (Ray) Torres, and Susana (Saul) Gutierrez; his parents-in-law, Socorro and Margarita Aviles; his sister-in-law, Margarita E. (Peter) Cozzoni; his brother-in-law, Carlos (Adella) Aviles; his sister-in-law, Lucia (Stephon) Butler; and his 21 nieces and nephews, Vanessa, Monica, Isabella, Mark, Alex, Ethan, Giselle, Esteban, Madalyn, Andrea, Celeste, Olivia, Sofia, Celeste, Dante, Devon, Lucas, Stephanie, Steven, Victoria, and Maya; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jesus Baldemar "Jesse" Vazquez, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jesse Vazquez as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
