SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ernest A. Pieroni of McHenry, who passed away on July 18, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Ernest Pieroni was born on November 21, 1960 in Woodstock; his parents were Ernest R. "Junior" and Julaine (nee Tonyan) Pieroni; he married Kimberly Hay on September 15, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Ernest Pieroni was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Local 150; he was also one of the leaders of Boy Scout Troop 131; and

WHEREAS, Ernest Pieroni enjoyed the great outdoors and was an avid hunter; and

WHEREAS, Ernest Pieroni was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, Karen Hay; and

WHEREAS, Ernest Pieroni is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly; 4 children, Adam Pieroni, Ben Fredrick, Amy (Ryan) Bentz and Andy (fiancee, Jessica) Bentz; his mother; a brother, Joe Pieroni; 2 sisters, Amy Pieroni and Terry (Eric) Ostini; his father-in-law, Jack Hay; 2 sisters-in-law, Debbie (Bob) Hurckes and Gina (Steve) Woo; a nephew, Nicolas Ostini; and 3 nieces, Isabella Ostini and Emily and Amanda Woo; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Ernest A. Pieroni; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ernest Pieroni as an expression of our sympathy.
