SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dolores "Dolly" Busscher of Antioch, who passed away on July 11, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Dolores Busscher was born on October 2, 1928 in Waukegan; she married Albert "Bud" Busscher on April 2, 1948; and

WHEREAS, Dolores Busscher was a member of the Fox Lake American Legion Post 703 Auxiliary, the Fox Lake Moose Club, the Fox Lake Garden Club, and the Lutheran Church of All Saints; and

WHEREAS, Dolores Busscher was an avid bowler; and

WHEREAS, Dolores Busscher was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; a granddaughter, Wendie "Pickles" Nelson; 4 brothers, Bill, Bud, Harold, and Jack Raffels; and 2 sisters, Florence Hoffman and Antoinette Reckwerdt; and

WHEREAS, Dolores Busscher is survived by a daughter, Terrie (James D.) Nelson; a grandson, James J. (Charis) Nelson; and a great-granddaughter, Morgan Nelson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Dolores "Dolly" Busscher; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dolores Busscher as an expression of our sympathy.
