SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert S. Cohn, who passed away on June
410, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Cohn was born on February 23, 1921 in
6Butler, Pennsylvania; his parents were Dorothy and Harry Cohn;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Cohn served with the United States Army Air
9Corps during World War II; he was stationed overseas in the
10European Theatre with the Eighth Air Force; he was awarded many
11medals and citations for his service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Cohn was the beloved husband of the late
13Doree (nee Newton); the cherished father of Dr. Stephen (Jayne)
14Hanauer, Laurie (Gary) Greenfield, Andrew Cohn, and the late
15Michael and Daniel Cohn; the adoring grandfather of Benjamin
16(Lisa), Jeffrey and Richard Hanauer, Tommy and Lisa Greenfield,
17and Hailey, Sarah, and David Cohn; the proud great-grandfather
18of Tyler, Sean, Henry, Nathan, and Miriam Hanauer; the loving
19brother of Murray (Barbara) Cohn, the late Richard (the late
20Charlotte) Cohn, and the late Dorothy (Jim) Regner; and the
21loving companion of the late Sue Epstein; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert S. Cohn; and be
4it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Robert Cohn as an expression of our
7sympathy.
