SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James August Glosson, who passed away on May 11, 2015; and

WHEREAS, James Glosson was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 16, 1930 to Clara and Joseph; at the age of 16, he joined the United States Army, serving overseas; he married Dolores in 1958; and

WHEREAS, James Glosson was a carpenter by trade; he settled in McHenry, working in construction; and

WHEREAS, James Glosson kept active by working part-time at a local bank and gardening; he enjoyed the theater and dining out with his wife; and

WHEREAS, James Glosson fathered 3 boys, Jim (Sarah), David, and Shawn (Barbara); he was the loving grandfather of Erin, David, Kelli, Christopher, Jimmy, and India Rose; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James August Glosson, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Glosson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
