SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Crystalyn "Chris" Wilcox of Marengo, who passed away on April 10, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was born on March 30, 1923 in Marengo and was a lifelong resident; her parents were George and Emma (nee Rahn) Hauschildt; she married Allan Wilcox on June 6, 1944; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was a bookkeeper at Vincent Beauty Supply for 25 years and the McHenry County Township Clerk for over 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was active in both the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries; she was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was preceded in death by her husband, Allan, and 2 brothers, George and David Hauschildt; and

WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox is survived by 2 sons, John (Therese) Wilcox and Paul Wilcox; 4 grandchildren, Brittany (Joseph) Competello, Angela (Chad) Swanson, Katy (Taylor) Wieczorek, and Michele (Brad Boyer) Wilcox; 2 great-grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia Swanson; and many loving extended family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Crystalyn "Chris" Wilcox; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Crystalyn Wilcox as an expression of our sympathy.
