SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James "Jim" Trogolo, who passed away on April 24, 2015; and

WHEREAS, James Trogolo was born in Christopher; his parents were Rudolph "Rudy" and Lena (nee VanZandt) Trogolo; and

WHEREAS, James Trogolo served as Chief of Police of the City of Christopher for 21 years; he previously served for 6 years as a patrolman before becoming Chief; he was also a member of the Christopher Fire Department for 40 years; and

WHEREAS, James Trogolo was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Patty Mills; and a brother, Chuck Trogolo; and

WHEREAS, James Trogolo is survived by his mother; his children, Andrew "Andy" Trogolo, Keasha Trogolo, James R. Trogolo, and Stefanie Trogolo; and his grandchildren, Makayla Trogolo, Presley Sollers, Ady Sollers, Xander Trogolo, and Emersyn Trogolo; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James "Jim" Trogolo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Trogolo as an expression of our sympathy.
