SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marilyn Elinor Hall of Taylorville, who passed away on March 19, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Hall was born in Taylorville on September 11, 1926 to F.M. "Binks" and Edwina Barnes Martin; she married Charles Hall on February 14, 1947 in Taylorville; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Hall served as Deputy Clerk in the Christian County Clerk's Office and was a teacher at St. Mary's School; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Hall was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; she enjoyed drinking coffee at Rene's, shopping for shoes, and spending time with her family and her grand-dog, Shadow; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; and her son-in-law, Tom Graham; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Hall is survived by her children, Mary Linda Graham, John Hall (Kathy), and Julie Colantino (Stephen); her grandchildren, Kimberly Fishburn (Philip), Chris Hall, Karen Kuntzman (Chris), Shannon Lefave (Ken), Traci Evans (Otis), Anthony Colantino, and Dena Colantino; and her 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marilyn Elinor Hall, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marilyn Hall as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
