SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John William Witt of Carlinville, who
4passed away on December 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Witt was born in Tabor to Frank and Thora
6(Anderson) Witt on February 26, 1934; he graduated from
7Greenfield High School and served in the United States Army; he
8married Kathy Eichen at Memorial Christian Church in
9Carlinville on August 25, 1973; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Witt was an auto body mechanic and a farmer;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Witt attended St. Paul United Church of
13Christ and enjoyed restoring vehicles and toys; and
 
14    WHEREAS, John Witt was preceded in death by his parents;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, John Witt is survived by his wife, Kathy; his
17daughters, Christina Witt, Julie (Michael) Wallis, and
18Kimberly (Jason) Hoesing; his son, Kenneth (Amanda) Witt; his
19grandchildren, PFC Evan Levinsky, Elyssa Levinsky, Michael
20Wallis, Andrew Wallis, Krysten Wallis, Michael Tripp, Brandon

1Swarringih, Michelyn Wallis, William Hoesing, Matthew Witt,
2and Emily Witt; his great-grandson, Adein Wallis; and many
3nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6John William Witt, and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of John William Witt as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
