SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frank E. McNichols, Sr. of Forest Park, who passed away on May 6, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Frank McNichols, Sr. was born on February 13, 1939; and

WHEREAS, Frank McNichols, Sr. will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him as a gentleman, a loving father, and a devout Catholic; he loved trivia and sports, especially the Chicago White Sox; he enjoyed handball and gaming, and coming up with clever puns; and

WHEREAS, Frank McNichols, Sr. was preceded in death by his siblings, Austin McNichols and Marilyn Hosty; and

WHEREAS, Frank McNichols, Sr. is survived by his children, Frank (Kate), Kelly (John) Moore, Tony, and Maureen; his grandchildren, Lucy McNichols, Sean Moore, Patrick McNichols, and Brigid Moore; and his sister, Jeanne Jones; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Frank E. McNichols, Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frank McNichols, Sr. as an expression of our sympathy.
