| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James A. Thiel of Johnsburg, who passed | 4 | | away on September 23, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Thiel was born in Woodstock to Allan Thiel | 6 | | and Betty (Scarbrough) Sieben on April 7, 1962; he served as a | 7 | | Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1987; | 8 | | he married Kelly Breit at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church | 9 | | in Johnsburg on July 10, 1982; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Thiel worked for G.W. Thiel, Inc.; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, James Thiel enjoyed long, scenic motorcycle rides | 12 | | with his wife and friends, and spending time with his family; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, James Thiel was preceded in death by his | 15 | | stepfather, Ray Sieben; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Breit; and | 16 | | his brother-in-law, Billy Breit; and
