SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William Ray Dryoel of Rock Island, who passed away on July 30, 2016; and

WHEREAS, William Dryoel was born in Rock Island to Robert V. and Betty J. Clayton Dryoel on June 22, 1949; he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and

WHEREAS, William Dryoel worked at Wal-Mart for the last 18 years; and

WHEREAS, William Dryoel enjoyed camping, fishing, bike riding, mushroom hunting, and collecting; and

WHEREAS, William Dryoel was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Billy Dryoel; his sister, Martha Dryoel; and his brother, Donald Dryoel; and

WHEREAS, William Dryoel is survived by his daughter, Julie Foutch; his grandchildren, Cory and Kayla Foutch, and Lindsay Smith; his great-grandchildren, Savannah Jo, Dominic Lee, Cora Ann Aurora, and Leon James Broly; his brothers, Michael Dryoel, Robert (JoAnn) Dryoel, and Daniel Dryoel; and his sister, Janet (Don) Baumann; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William Ray Dryoel, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Dryoel as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
