SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jean B. Nemcek of Des Plaines, who passed away on July 3, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Alice (Glover) and Edward W. Buell; she was a resident of Melrose Park for almost 60 years; and

WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was employed as a registered nurse for over 30 years with the Veterans Administration; and

WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Nemcek, and her brother, Edward K. Buell; and

WHEREAS, Jean Nemcek is survived by her son, George E. (Julia) Nemcek, and her grandchildren, Brock and Sabrina; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jean B. Nemcek, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jean Nemcek as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
