| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Louis I. Resetich of Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on July 10, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich was born in East Moline to Ignatius | 6 | | and Jennie O'Korn Resetich on January 18, 1924; he served in | 7 | | the United States Navy during World War II and married Edna M. | 8 | | Geiger in Rock Island on November 11, 1950; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich worked at Alcoa in Davenport, Iowa | 10 | | for over 33 years, retiring as unit supervisor in 1982; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich was a 70-year member and past | 12 | | President of the Slovenian National Benefit Society and the | 13 | | Alcoa Retirees Club; he enjoyed fishing, camping, and the | 14 | | Holiday Rambler RV Club; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich married Verna Woolley in 1995; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich was preceded in death by his first | 17 | | wife, Edna, and his brother, Albert Resetich; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Louis Resetich is survived by his wife, Verna, and | 19 | | her family; his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dwain |
