SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norman R. "Rusty" Koehler of Springfield, who passed away on May 29, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Norman Koehler was born on February 15, 1960; his parents were Norman and Bonnie Koehler; he married Sheryl Lynch on June 13, 1987 in Hillsboro; and

WHEREAS, Norman Koehler was an avid musician who was passionate about his wife, his family and friends, his music, and the music community; he also had an incredible love for animals; and

WHEREAS, Norman Koehler is survived by his wife, Sheryl Koehler; his parents; his children, Paul Koehler and Kelly Brockhouse; his granddaughters, Kyleigh and Makayla Brockhouse; his sisters, Candace Alexander and Kathi Koehler Leepper; and his niece, Andrea Alexander; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Norman R. "Rusty" Koehler; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norman Koehler as an expression of our sympathy.
