SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Helen Bentall of Elk Grove Village, who passed away on May 19, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Mary Bentall worked as a secretary for the Grove Jr. High School for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Mary Bentall volunteered at the Alexian Medical Center, the Kenneth Young Center, and the Elk Grove Food Pantry; and

WHEREAS, Mary Bentall was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Bentall; and

WHEREAS, Mary Bentall is survived by her two sons; her four grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mary Helen Bentall, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Bentall as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
