SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Charles E. Anderson of Moline, who passed away on May 20, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was born in Davenport, Iowa to Clark and Ruth Justice Anderson on December 28, 1932; he was first married to Mary Ellen Quinn; he later married Sharon K. Witmer in Andalusia on December 7, 1974; and

WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was employed with Saelens Beverage, Inc. for over 25 years; he then worked at Bi-State Packaging until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Charles Anderson was preceded in death by his second wife, Sharon; his parents; his son-in-law, Curt Welsh; and his brother, Gene Anderson; and

WHEREAS, Charles Anderson is survived by his children, Linda (Jack) Loving, Lorrie Welsh, Charles E. Anderson II, and Jeremy Anderson; his granddaughter, Brandi Welsh; one niece; and one nephew; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Charles E. Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
