| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy R. Butcher of Huntley, who passed | 4 | | away on May 6, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was born on August 22, 1970 in | 6 | | Aledo; his parents were Donald W. and Joyce E. Butcher; he | 7 | | married Anne K. Yuen on May 25, 2002 in Barrington; the couple | 8 | | made their home in Wheaton and later Blaine, Minnesota, before | 9 | | moving to Huntley in 2008; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was raised and educated in Aledo, | 11 | | graduating from Aledo High School in 1988; he enlisted in the | 12 | | United States Army and served for three years before | 13 | | transferring to the Army National Guard; he then graduated | 14 | | Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University with a | 15 | | Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was employed at Wells Fargo | 17 | | Advisors in Woodstock; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher enjoyed golf, skiing, and | 19 | | coaching his children's baseball, basketball, and softball | 20 | | teams; he was also involved with the stewardship and men's | 21 | | ministries at Willow Creek Community Church as well as mission |

| 1 | | trips through various faith-based organizations; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher is survived by his wife, Anne; his | 3 | | son, Tyler; his daughter, Reagan; his father; his brothers, | 4 | | Jeff (Carol) Butcher and Ron (Lisa) Butcher; and several nieces | 5 | | and nephews; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 8 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy R. Butcher; | 9 | | and be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Timothy Butcher as an expression of | 12 | | our sympathy.
