SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Timothy R. Butcher of Huntley, who passed away on May 6, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was born on August 22, 1970 in Aledo; his parents were Donald W. and Joyce E. Butcher; he married Anne K. Yuen on May 25, 2002 in Barrington; the couple made their home in Wheaton and later Blaine, Minnesota, before moving to Huntley in 2008; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was raised and educated in Aledo, graduating from Aledo High School in 1988; he enlisted in the United States Army and served for three years before transferring to the Army National Guard; he then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was employed at Wells Fargo Advisors in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher enjoyed golf, skiing, and coaching his children's baseball, basketball, and softball teams; he was also involved with the stewardship and men's ministries at Willow Creek Community Church as well as mission trips through various faith-based organizations; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher is survived by his wife, Anne; his son, Tyler; his daughter, Reagan; his father; his brothers, Jeff (Carol) Butcher and Ron (Lisa) Butcher; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy R. Butcher; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Timothy Butcher as an expression of our sympathy.
