SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert L. "Bob" Rohder of Joliet, who passed away on April 24, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Robert Rohder was a dedicated employee at Citgo Refinery in Lemont for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Robert Rohder loved music, golf, cooking, and woodworking; he was very active and had a zest for life; he loved meeting new people and connected well with his charm and quick wit; and

WHEREAS, Robert Rohder was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Rohder, and his grandparents, August and Grace Rohder, and Mary and "Iggy" Witkowski; and

WHEREAS, Robert Rohder is survived by his mother, Regina Rohder; his wife, Diane (Galuska) Rohder; his three children, Kelly Rohder (Rodney Tonelli), Daniel Rohder (Kristy Vincent), and Kristen Rohder (Todd Britt); his siblings, Debbie (Ross) Moran and John Rohder; several nieces and nephews; and his devoted friend, Christine Rohder (Dvorak); therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert L. "Bob" Rohder, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Rohder as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
