SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Karl Richard Vollendorf of Glendale Heights, who passed away on January 28, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Karl Vollendorf was born in Chicago on June 8, 1952; he served in the United States Navy in Vietnam from 1969 to 1972; and

WHEREAS, Karl Vollendorf was an auto body technician his entire life; and

WHEREAS, Karl Vollendorf is survived by his wife, Susan Vollendorf; his two children, Karl Vollendorf and Amy (Ronald) Daly; his three grandchildren, Jonathan Vollendorf, Emily Daly, and Lauren Daly; and his brothers, Robert (Irene) and Ronald (Virginia) Vollendorf; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Karl Richard Vollendorf, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Karl Vollendorf as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
