| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Anna E. Anderson of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on January 6, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Anna Anderson was born in Wapella on March 21, | 6 | | 1927 to Beacher and Nancy Nichols; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Anna Anderson married Ted McMannis and settled in | 8 | | Rockford and had a daughter, Teddy Ann; she later married | 9 | | Robert Anderson; they lived in Crystal Lake and had Cindi and | 10 | | Robert, Jr.; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Anna Anderson's daughter, Teddy Ann, married Ken | 12 | | Roby and together they had Anna's 4 grandsons, Kelly, Chad, | 13 | | Brandon, and Aaron; Aaron married Stacey Caster and together | 14 | | they have Anna's 2 great-grandchildren, Easton and Morgan; | 15 | | these grandchildren and great-grandchildren made Anna very | 16 | | proud and brought her much joy; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Anna Anderson lived in Crystal Lake for 50 years; | 18 | | she worked at Precision Twist Drill and later Oak Industries; | 19 | | in retirement, she ran a home-based childcare business and | 20 | | became the surrogate grandmother to several families; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Anna Anderson was an active member of First United | 2 | | Methodist Church; she was in the same Bible study group for 30 | 3 | | years; she participated in the church's prison ministry and was | 4 | | a frequent volunteer for McHenry County PADS; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Anna E. Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 9 | | further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Anna Anderson as an expression of | 12 | | our deepest sympathy.
